Innovation Living has developed a range of comfort systems across its sofa beds to meet different needs, from firmer, supportive seating to a softer, more relaxed feel for lounging and sleeping. Each model’s construction is carefully tuned—layering foams and fibers, calibrating spring support, shaping seat depth and back angle, and refining how the mechanism opens and closes—so the piece feels balanced, durable, and easy to use. The result is a clear set of “Comforts” that explain how individual sofas are built, what kind of support they provide, how they perform for everyday sitting and occasional sleeping, and which options pair best with your space, fabric choice, and usage.
Double Spring
A no-zag suspension system and a pocket spring core, both encased in high resilient OEKO-TEX® certified foam over a durable metal frame. The two spring types solve different problems: the no-zag layer absorbs the concentrated load of sitting, while the pocket spring core contours to distributed body weight when you sleep. The result is a soft, inviting top as part of a balanced sitting and sleeping comfort.

No-zag & Pocket Spring
The combination of no-zag and pocket springs with a hyper soft foam layer on top creates a distinctly soft feel in both seating and sleeping positions. The no-zag layer contributes extra elasticity and allows the mattress to breathe. Built on a solid wood frame, this system is softer through the top than Double Spring.

No-zag Spring
The No-zag Spring provides an even and soft comfort ideal for sofa seats and backrests. The thick layer of high resilient foam enhances the comfort of the spring to ensure a great sleeping experience as well. Built on a solid wood frame.

Pocket Spring Dual
The Pocket Spring Dual comfort shares the general composition of the Pocket Spring models apart from the extra layer of hyper soft foam that gives these sofa beds an extra soft feel. This extra layer of luxury provides a soft seating comfort as well as a mattress recommended for everyday sleeping.

Pocket Spring
The individual pockets in these models ensure that pressure is applied to each individual spring for better support – in seating as well as sleeping position. The high resilient foam casing contributes to a breathable mattress while providing a soft top support. Without the additional hyper soft layer, the feel is firmer and more supportive.

Excess Pocket Spring
The higher coils in the Excess Pocket Spring models provide a softer sofa comfort. In combination with the core foam casing, the Excess mattress has higher absorption of pressure on each spring for a more comfortable sleep. The taller coil suits the larger sleeping surfaces these models offer.

Dual Memory
The Dual Memory mattress offers two comforts in one. It is reversible: one side is 3¼" high density foam, the other 1½" OEKO-TEX® certified memory foam. Whether you prefer a softer or firmer surface, a single mattress covers both. The cover is removable and machine washable at 140°F / 60°C.

Choosing a comfort system
If the sofa bed will be slept on most nights, the systems built for that use are Pocket Spring Dual, Double Spring, and No-zag & Pocket Spring. If it is primarily a sofa that hosts guests a few times a year, No-zag Spring and Pocket Spring both deliver excellent seating with comfortable occasional sleeping.
Frame construction differs by system. Double Spring, Pocket Spring, Pocket Spring Dual, and Excess Pocket Spring are built on metal frames; No-zag Spring and No-zag & Pocket Spring use solid wood. Neah and Newilla are often compared because both combine no-zag and pocket springs — the difference is that Newilla adds a hyper soft foam layer on a solid wood frame, giving it a softer top.
